I found a couple cross browser JavaScripts and added them to the site. If you log in, you will see a 'your profile' button you can click on to view your public profile. The clock now has a cool alpha transparency script. :)

The server is running PHP 4.3.4 but I have updated my pages to work with PHP 5. I need to start using the new PHP 5 features, I am waiting for it to be released and hopefully my server will be upgraded. PHP 5 offers some new OO features and it is faster.

PIMP for PHP 5 kicks ass. I could use it to process all sorts of images, and the beta is scheduled to be released sometime this month :) yay! I am going to design some slick button making programs and other stuff.

I've written about 9000 lines of code for the SproutWorks Content Management System so far. I'm thinking about making it an open source project. :-/

I wrote a program that measures how long the webserver needs to process an image, and puts in a graph. The graph is rendered a little like a CPU load graph. You can see it running at the bottom of the page.

I am going to develop a system to allow users to upload multiple avatars, and choose which to use when posting a message. :-S

I'm developing an instant messaging system for this site and dimension3cg.com. It is live on the site as of now, but in a very basic form. Try it out :)

I'm in my flash class now, going to learn some animation techniques.

I've taken Flash training too. It can be fun but it's all basic vector animation. Not as complicated as 3D animation like using Lightwave 3D or 3DSM. Using Macromedia Director can be fun too. When you're creating vctor art, think of them in terms of sprites and layers. It's pretty easy when you think about how Japanimation films are created using similar techniques. You can move the background layers to create movement. Maybe when I have some extra time, we can work on a few examples.

I am in a JavaScript class, I figure I could use some JavaScript on this site. I put a couple new gadgets on dimension3cg.com. Time for bed now...

Today I worked on adding a user/login system with avatars to dimension3cg.com. I am using the same system to power SproutWorks.
